Amanda is an artist living and working in Middletown. She has studied art since middle school and has participated in several art events including the Orange Country Fair art show (where she on first and second place for her landscape paintings), the Olympics of the Visual Arts (where she won second place for a team sculpture), and the first Middletown Art Walk.

    Amanda studied visual communications at SUNY Orange, and received several honors and awards for her graphic design and drawings. She graduated with a dual degree in Visual Communications and Biology. From there, she advanced to SUNY New Paltz and expanded her skills in 2D and 3D design as a Visual Arts major with a minor in Digital Design and Fabrication. Currently she is a graphic designer for Marketplace Publications in Chester, NY.

    Amanda has combined her skills into a variety of projects including event documentation, apparel design, graphic design, original animated shorts, and a cohesive collection of landscape paintings. She is also interested in teaching others about art and design,and has volunteered with local students to assist them with their artistic projects.

    In her free time, Amanda enjoys drawing and painting, designing and making T-shirts, painting with the airbrush, experimenting in Photoshop and Illustrator, and printing unusual things with her 3D printer.
